Raabta
Delete your account
Last updated: 19 October 2026
This page explains how to request deletion of your Raabta or Raabta — Matchmaker account and the data linked to it.
Raabta — Matchmaker
The Raabta — Matchmaker app does not have a delete button. Request deletion by email:
- Email privacy@getraabta.com.
- Use the subject Delete my Raabta — Matchmaker account.
- Include the WhatsApp number you use to sign in.
We confirm the request, then deactivate the account. If you do not sign in again within 90 days, it is permanently deleted. Signing in during those 90 days restores it.
After permanent deletion we delete:
- Your name, sign-in phone number, and matchmaker account
- Your share link
- The device identifiers stored on the account
We may keep:
- Earnings records, withdrawal requests, and paid invoices, for fraud prevention, disputes, and accounting, for as long as the law requires. These are not used to recreate your account.
- A device identifier already used for a signup payment, so that phone cannot earn the same signup bonus again.
Raabta app — delete in the app
- Open the Raabta app and sign in with your phone number.
- Go to Settings → Manage account.
- Tap Deactivate account and confirm.
Your profile leaves Explore immediately. If you sign in again within 90 days, the account is restored. If you do not sign in within 90 days, the account and associated data are permanently deleted.
Request by email (if you cannot use the app)
Email privacy@getraabta.com from a contact method we can match to your account, and include:
- The phone number used to sign in to Raabta
- The words “Please delete my Raabta account”
We will confirm and process the request. Deletion follows the same retention rules below (deactivate hold, then permanent deletion).
Data that is deleted
After the retention period ends (or when permanent deletion runs), we delete:
- Your account and sign-in phone number
- Profile details and photos / verification media
- Connection requests and chat messages (including chat media)
- Favorites, blocks, reports, and similar in-app lists tied to your profiles
- Subscription / plan records on our servers
Data that may be kept
- During the 90-day deactivate period: account and content are retained so you can restore by signing in. Profiles are hidden from Explore.
- After permanent deletion: we may keep limited records required by law, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution (for example safety logs or billing records held by Apple / Google), for as long as legally necessary. These are not used to recreate your Raabta profile.
- App store purchases: subscription history with Apple or Google is managed by those stores; cancel renewals in your store account settings if needed.
Retention period
Standard path: deactivate now → restore anytime within 90 days by signing in → automatic permanent deletion after 90 days of continuous deactivation.
